Allbutt Mining Supplies has supplied the diamond drilling industry since 1996, stocking a full line of impregnated and surface-set core bits in all standard sizes: AQ, BQ, NQ, HQ, and PQ. Our bits are available in matrix hardness grades suited to a wide range of ground conditions — from soft, fractured overburden to the hard granites and metavolcanics common across the Canadian Shield. The right matrix selection can be the difference between a full core recovery run and a costly fishing job.

In addition to diamond tooling, we carry reaming shells, casing shoes, and a complete range of core barrel assemblies — inner tubes, outer tubes, and wireline retrieval systems. For core handling and camp logistics, we stock plastic and wooden core boxes, core blocks, and labeling supplies to keep your logging workflow organized from the rig to the box.

We are a full-line supplier of AMC drilling fluids, including viscosifiers and polymers for hole stabilization in fractured and caving ground, biodegradable rod lubricants for ESG-compliant operations, and thread compounds. Our fluids lineup includes environmentally safe formulations for work in sensitive ecosystems — a requirement for many northern and near-water operations.

Chuck and rod holder jaws and inserts are also stocked for routine maintenance of core barrels and rod handling equipment.
